Recipe 1: All-Purpose Bug Spray

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup witch hazel or vodka
  • 1/2 cup distilled water
  • 30 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil
  • 15 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil

Combine in glass spray bottle. Shake well before use. Reapply every 2 hours.

Recipe 2: Tick Repellent

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
  • 20 drops rose geranium essential oil
  • 10 drops cedarwood essential oil
  • 10 drops lemongrass essential oil

Apply to ankles, wrists, and back of neck. Reapply every few hours.

Recipe 3: Citronella Lotion Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons beeswax

  • 40 drops citronella essential oil

Melt, add oils, pour into mold. Rub on skin like solid lotion.
